 STINKY! Didn't work for me, either! Jul 16, 2010
Was at the local Avon store, and thought I'd try their bug repellent out,
because Avon is usually good quality. Got this one because it was unscented.
It STINKS!!! I'm embarassed to even wear it around people, it stinks so much!
Tonight I used it before going to the park to walk my dogs, like I do most evenings,
and sprayed my bare legs and bare arms, on my clothes, and then closed my eyes and
put a light squirt on my face.
YUCK! It stunk so much!
So I leave, and see my neighbor walking down the street, so pulled over to talk to her.
She tried to shoo away a misquito that came right to me when I rolled my window down.
Thought about apologizing for stinking so much because of the bug spray, but didn't.
So went to the park, and had to swat about ten misquitos away in my 15 minute walk!
It sure didn't work for me!
I've been using a plastic 6 oz. container of "Cutter Skinsations insect repellent,
with aloe & vitamin E - moisturizes skin, clean fresh scent."
The bottle is comfortable to use, doesn't clunk if it drops like the hard metal can
of Avon's reviewed product. It has always worked for me, and has a barely noticeable
fragrance - not a stink at all. It actually smells nice!
So go for the Cutter instead. However, I just read one review on the Cutter product
I promoted, and it had one bad review. Huh.

Easy on your skin, tough on BUGS, SUN rays{SPF#30), & better on your nose (Not like the ole Avon skin so soft smell.

This product is fantastic! We live in Hawaii and at times go into the jungle which has some very mean bugs. We have tried everything under the sun and moon and found this to be the absolute best. Nice thing is, it doesn't have that awful smell that most do, it's not as greasy (who wants to grease up before hiking?). We can apply it and several hours later the product is still effective.

I live in tropical Central America where everything bites and stings. I find this Avon product to work very well - better than any other product I have tried. It is not available here, so make sure to buy it in the US if you intend visiting the jungle or the beach here.
