This was my first tanning lotion I ever used. I had never gone tanning before and I was worried about getting orange. I was on youtube looking at reviews and I saw a video made by a girl who works at a tanning salon and she recommended this lotion, so I thought I'd try it out because it was really cheap. This lotion worked almost instantly. It has just enough bronzers in it to make you look brown and keep you brown. It smells like vanilla and almond...kind of similar to vanilla bean noel lotion by bath and body works. After you're out of the bed you kind of smell like a toasted almond, but it's not THAT bad and it really works if you want a cheap lotion. And it's thick too, so it reallly moisturizes. I would order this again, even over some of the designer skin lotions i've used. :)

I love Brown Envy Dark! Let me just start off by saying that the shipping was so fast!! I literally received my item in 2 days which is EXCELLENT because long exposure to heat will ruin tanning lotions, especially ones that are heat activated (which most indoor tanning lotions are). Back to the lotion, can I say AMAZING?? Nine dollars has NEVER gotten me so tan!! I used the lotion today for the first time and I am AT LEAST one shade darker, but probably more like two. I bought a $50 dollar lotion at my tanning salon and it worked, but it started making me more orange than brown. I used Brown Envy Dark for one session and I can already tell that I am definitely more brown, not orange looking at all. It smells pretty good, but even more importantly, it continues to smell good even after you tan with it. The other lotion I was using made me smell like a tanning bed :( not cool. Also, the formula is really thick so it applies evenly and keeps your skin soft. It's not streaky at all which is the problem that I have run into with some tanning lotions that contain bronzers. I saw this lotion from this YouTube video that this girl made about good tanning lotions and she was right! For $9, you really can't get a better tanning lotion. The only thing I would caution you about it to apply it about 20 to 30 mins before you tan with it. I applied mine right before I tanned and when I started to sweat from the heat of the bed, I could tell that i was sweating the lotion off too. All in all, a great lotion though.
