 WOW! This stuff sucks!!!!!!! Apr 26, 2009
My wife and I kayak around the NC coast mostly in the Intercoastal Waterway. We tried this sunblock, actually the SPF 50, thinking that the spray would be easier to use while sitting in our kayaks. Ok I see everyone else complained about smell and it being greasey. We could care less about either of those two problems. Our problem was we bought SUN BLOCK as in it should be protection from the sun. We dont know if maybe it had something to do with the salt water or what, but I think cooking oil might have worked better than this stuff. We lived at the beach for years and I work outside all day everyday, and neither of us has ever been this burnt.
So to some up. Save yourself about $8.00 and just have someone go over your back and legs with a torch. At least with that you can save yourself the greasey, smelly, and being hard to spray that everyone else had a problem with too.

The mist idea is great, but I was disappointed with how greasy this product is. The whole point is for it to be rub free, but I had to wipe some of the liquid/grease off so that defeated the whole purpose. Even with the rubbing, I was still greasy and shiny. The entire time I kept thinking "I can't wait to get home and shower to get this stuff off". It also has a strong smell.

I'm sure this sunscreen does its job and protects, but it is greasy and leaves a bright shine on your skin. Also, it may stain clothing so I don't recommend getting any on your clothes or other fabrics. Even though a spray is convenient, I like Banana Boat's non-spray sunscreen lotions better.

This is the HARDEST TO SPRAY!!! I called Banana Boat and was told to use my thumb! Forget about it... uneven, hard to use. When it does work, sprays gobs of goo. Worthless junk.

This is a pretty good sunscreen, but I just can't get past the chemical odor it has. I'm used to the smell of coconut or perfumey smells, not smells of chemicals.
