Beware this product Sep 13, 2009 Not only did this product not do any repelling of mosquitoes, it left an irritation band around my wife's ankle that is still there 5 months later! I don't know what ingredient in it that could do this, but this has been a bad experience for us.
Works pretty well Aug 17, 2009 My girlfriend and I both gave the Bug Band Wristband a try when we went camping at Humboldt in northern California. Granted, the location wasn't swarming with mosquitoes, but the wristbands worked fairly well. After camping for five days, I left with three small bug bites and she only had one. The wristbands do give off a bit of an odor, but you get used to it. It also comes with a plastic container so its effectiveness remained fairly strong the entire week. All in all, I found it equally effective to most bug sprays.
so far, no bites Aug 05, 2009 Very strong smell, even sealed in two layers of plastic bags, it can make my cloth smell like the ring, haven't used it for long, so far no bites, knock on wood.

A necessity for parents Jun 01, 2009 Our son used these for camp and they worked great. The camp counselor even noticed that he wasn't covered in bug bites like the other kids and asked where he could find some. We are stocking up on these for the summer!

Bug Band Jul 28, 2008 Based on other reviews including a golf magazine review, I use the Bug Band on the golf course. So far it has worked well by hanging it on a belt loop. I will most definately continue to use the product.
