I expected this product to heat up much faster than it does- which I was told it was fast but after using it several times, it seems to average about 25 minutes to heat up adequately- Also, the rollers were too large for myu medium size hair and did not do a good job curling because of that. It might work better on long thin hair - but that is just a guess. Personally I was very disappointed and will be getting rid of not be using this product! I plan to give it to my sister in law that has longer, thinner hair and maybe she will have success.

Am satisfied with product even though I thought the curlers would be bigger. The base was cracked but not worth the time and money involved with an exchange.

I love this product because it gives great results for a nice curl and the felt covered roller makes it feel like it's not frying my hair like other rollers. I suggest that it's better for finer hair and not so great for people with thick hair, because the rollers don't get scorching hot like most hot rollers do. I have fine hair but a lot of it, so this product is great for my hair. I envy people who have thick hair and suggest this product wouldn't be good for thick hair. I gave only 4 stars because the size isn't very compact for travelling but it does have conversion for European voltage.

I have medium weight hair - not fine - it takes a curl pretty easily and these are perfect for me. I do the whole head with 5 and it doesn't look overdone. I think they take 10 to 15 min to heat.

this is my second purchase of this hair setter. i absolutely love it! it gives just the right amount of curl and body depending on how long you leave the curlers in. i highly recommend it.
