This cotton square does not shred or "disintegrate" like some, also does not soak up and waste expensive cosmetic products, so worth the extra cost in my opinion.

If you are looking to purchase pads that will work with the methods introduced in the Japanese Skin Care Revolution, these are not it. They are very small pads. Based on the review here, I purchased this item rather than Miss Webril when it came up as an alternative/recommended on the book page. However, when I received them, they are not "large" pads. If you go on Cotton Cloud's website, they are listed as "large" without a size specified. I was disappointed to find them to be the same size I can buy at any drugstore.

COTTON CLOUDS has been my product of choice since it was introduced into the marketplace almost 30 years ago. It was the very "FIRST" pre-cut 100% cotton pad brought to the public. COTTON CLOUDS was a welcomed departure from the synthetic pads already in circulation. COTTON CLOUDS has the unique advantage of being able to be picked "THINK or THIN", allowing one to use only the thickness desired for any particular use. COTTON CLOUDS does not leave lint or strands of cotton fiber around the eye area, which for contact users is a huge plus. It is made using long-strands of cotton; therefore, the strength of the pad is most benificial allowing a user to even use both sides of the pad. I love to moisten the pad first with cool water, ring out the liquid, and then I apply my cleanser and toner. I have given COTTON CLOUDS as gifts to new mothers for use on their babies bottoms, since this pad is so gentle it will not ever irritate the skin, whether on the face or on the bottoms of babies bums.
My husband suffered from heel spurs, and he found that by inserting a few COTTON CLOUD pads into his shoes, he was more than overjoyed by the instant relief he experienced. So, now you can understand why I give this product, COTTON CLOUDS,***** stars.....I can't be without them. I even buy the travel size when I plan a trip, so that I can have them on hand in an easy to use smaller size while traveling. Try them...You'll love them.

These pads are just simply the best! I wish they were still sold at my local drug store.. I can only find them online. If you take off make up everyday with cotton, you won't find a better pad. It doesn't over absorb all the remover and it feels very soft. No edges, or gluey parts.. You'll never go back to the ribbed or embossed cotton pads again after using these.

I used to find these pretty, pastel colored pads in Ultra cosmetic store. They are decorative in my bathroom...luxurious. I thought they didn't make them anymore. I am so glad to have found them.
