Helps you get what I call the "natural tan from the sun". Jul 29, 2010 I don't go out of my way to deliberately get a suntan 98% of the time. It just kind of happens naturally through sun exposure without thinking about it. I don't go to tanning salons. Never have, never will. Anybody can get a FREE tan from that star that's up in the sky every day that we call the sun.
Once in a great while (I mean a GREAT while) I'll use some tanning oil or lotion to speed things along if I'm in the mood to get a tan. I've used Hawaiian Tropic Fusion Blend Dark Tanning Spray with good results. It's a unique blend of two tropical, exotic, natural flora and fruit extracts. As you can see from the picture, there's orange on top and purple on the bottom. When you shake the bottle, the two colors mix together, but then go back to orange on top and purple on the bottom within maybe 30 seconds. While the stuff is mixed, that's when you spray it on. The orange phase contains beta-carotene and vitamin E for moisturizing the skin while the glistening agents enhance the appearance of your tan. The purple phase contains aloe vera and glycerin to help the skin retain nutrients.
The texture isn't quite as oily as straight suntan oil (though it's close), so it's less messy. This stuff smells like exotic tropical fruits. It also contains a little sunscreen - 4 SPF. The active sunscreen ingredients are Octisalate, Ensulizole, and Homosalate.
Hawaiian Tropic makes great products, and this is one of them. I give it my recommendation.

Great Product Jun 28, 2007 Overall, I really like this tanning oil. The texture isn't overly greasy; I don't worry about it getting on my clothes. When applied, it looks like a light oil with a nice shine rather than a heavy grease. It smells great.
The only drawback is that the spray bottle is hard to use. The bottle itself inevitably gets oily, as you have to spread the oil around a bit on your skin after spraying it on. Once this happens, though, it's virtually impossible to hold the bottle and spray it with the same hand. I've had to resort to holding it in one hand and pushing the spray head with the other, and then setting the bottle down to spread the oil on my skin. It's a pain, but not enough of one to deter me from using the product (I just with they'd package it differently!).
